Roseground are delighted to offer patterns by Claire Bonito. Claire has been making and designing lace since the early 1990's, learning under the watchful eye of Pat Read MBE. It was from Pat that Claire developed her love of Milanese lace.
She has created designs in a range of lace types. Specialising in Modern Milanese Claire has become known for her contemporary work using both Milanese and Withof techniques to create designs in a style instantly recognisable as hers.
In 2010 her Waterlily Mat was awarded a Medal for Excellence in the Lace Guild’s Triennial Exhibition, and in 2013 her Art Deco Lady won both the Individuals and Visitors Choice trophies.
Claire has been teaching lace across the UK since the mid 2000's, she is based in west Kent and would be more than happy to discuss teaching either one day workshops within a reasonable distance, or weekend/longer courses at venues further afield. Please ask Roseground for details
