Unagh's original designs were the squares for the tablecloth - a project for the Ards Bobbin Lace Enthusiasts to celebrate their 30th Anniversary. The book contains all of these.
As lockdown hit, Unagh started thinking that this project could go one step further - 25 patterns became 101! Squares, bookmarks, edgings, corners and much more. All patterns using Torchon techniques.
Unagh has included a section giving some excellent step by step guidance with regard to working many of the techniques. An excellent book full of an fabulous range of patterns, suiting all levels of ability - you will certainly have the chance to develop Torchon techniques.
Each patterns page features the pattern, a clear black & white photograph along with stitches used and bobbin numbers -- all patterns use Finca 40, which is available in a range of colours from Roseground.
Sales of the book raised £2,250 to Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI. The continued book sale profits are being collected to give to the Ards charity this year, the Multiple Sclerosis Society Northern Ireland.
