A Bedfordshire Lace Collection
chosen by Barbara Underwood
A selection of 64 stunning Bedfordshire pieces arranged in three sections - lace made from old patterns, modern adaptations of old patterns and new designs. Almost exclusively, traditional Bedfordshire techniques were used throughout.
Each piece is illustrated by a very clear black and white photograph, often with an additional close-up, and has brief notes by the editor and a pricking, either arranged with the item, in a pricking section at the rear or, in the case of larger pieces, on a lift out pattern sheet stored in a rear pocket. Some colour photographs.
In excellent condition. Fading to cover spine. Original owner's name, etc to front endpaper.
