The author presents her collection of beautiful designs, worked in what she calls her "English interpretation of Duchesse lace", for some of which she are also offers versions worked in other techniques such as needlelace, Carrickmacross and Honiton. The author believes that reasonably proficient lacemakers of all skill levels would be able to use the patterns, as presented or interpreted by them as they wish
Approximately fifteen projects are included together with a brief section on techniques. They include butterflies, edgings, bells, a jabot and a cross.
Each pattern has a black and white image for the finished work in the main and any suggested alternative technique(s), working diagram(s) and written working instructions.
In excellent condition except for minor bumps to cover.
