Bedfordshire Angel - Lydia
A Bedfordshire Angel pattern designed by Louise West. A stunning piece of lace to adorn your Christmas tree.
Angel Lydia uses Bedfordshire techniques and was designed to remember a very dear friend who loved animals and had a big heart, so her dress is covered in paw prints and hearts.
Some working instructions are provided however as this angel has been designed for the more experienced lacemaker, less directions are provided and more interpretation is intended.
Approximate 100 pairs for the body - Finca 60 with a Finca Perle 8 gimp has been used for the worked piece but alternative suitable threads may of course be used.
Available in a paper version or a "ready to work" laser cut version (see second photograph). The laser cut version also comes with the working instructions as detailed above
The "ready to work" option provides an incredibly accurate pricking complete with all markings. Absolutely nothing to do apart from putting it on your pillow and making the lace. Definitely saves a huge amount of time!
