Bedfordshire Swim Charity Bookmark
Louise West has designed this bookmark as a charity fundraiser to celebrate Swimathon 2020. Louise will be giving a donation from the sale of the pattern to her Swimathon sponsorship with Cancer Research and Marie Curie Nurses being the worthy nominated charities this year.
The pattern is inspired by the movement through the water, the splashes, bubbles and lane ropes.
Working diagrams and supporting notes are provided. The bookmark was worked in Finca 60 with Madeira Cotona 30 was used to give some colour to the wave through the centre. Additionally a variegated gimp was used to outline the half stitch edge symbolising the lane ropes.
