Sally has worked this in black but of course you can choose another colour - but black certainly looks stunning with the gold sequins.
The lace shown has been worked in Pipers Silk 140/2 with Pipers Silk 30/3 for the gimp however if you would prefer not to use silk, Finca 80 with a Finca Perle 8 gimp would be an excellent alternative (and available in black).
