Bucks Point Angel - Lyn
Continuing the angel theme, a Bucks Point angel pattern designed by Louise West. A beautiful piece of lace to add to your festive decorations.
Some working instructions are provided however as the design uses floral techniques, an understanding will be needed as to where to add in additional pairs.
Approximately 80 pairs needed for both the body and the wings.
Available in a paper version or a "ready to work" laser cut version (see second photograph). The laser cut version also comes with the working instructions as detailed above and an A5 coloured postcard of the finished item.
The "ready to work" option provides an incredibly accurate pricking complete with all markings. Absolutely nothing to do apart from putting it on your pillow and making the lace. Definitely saves a huge amount of time - this pattern has 3835 pre-pricked holes!
The lace shown in the photograph has been worked in Finca 80 thread plus a complementing metallic thread. In place of the tallies you may wish to use Delica Beads, which really does add a festive feel to the angel.
