Motifs for Christmas
A fantastic opportunity to purchase five of Louise's designs in one go, which use different techniques - all suitable for creating fabulous festive decoration to your tree, cards or even gifts.
- Bedfordshire Poinsettia (top left on photograph) - uses approximately 70 pairs with the sample shown using Finca 60 thread. You may choose to add in a metallic thread also
- Bucks Point Poinsettia (top right on photograph) - uses approximately 60 pairs with the sample shown using Finca 80 thread. You may use optional metallic gimps also.
- Russian techniques - Small Snowflake (bottom left on photograph) - uses just 6 pairs with the sample shown using Finca 50 thread. A complementing metallic thread will also be needed. You may choose to add in sequins with the sewing.
- Russian techniques - Large Snowflake (centre on photograph) - as with the small snowflake, this uses just 6 pairs with the sample shown using Finca 40 plus a complementing metallic thread. A nice touch is to add varying sizes of sequins with the sewings.
- Bedfordshire Poinsettia with beads (bottom right on photograph) - uses approximately 50 pairs with the sample shown using Finca 60. To add sparkle, Delica beads have been added at every other kiss stitch on the outside edge. Seed beeds in the centre of the half-stitch circles as an alternative to the raised and rolled tallies.
