Approximately 27 pairs for the background colour with additional pairs for the coloured segments and gimps
Original lace worked in Pipers Silk 140/2 with 6 strands of spun silk for the gimps. Suitable alternative threads may of course be used
3mm sequins may be added to the design - instructions provided
